In depth
The Q3_C is aimed at children and pairs two 250W motors with 6.5-inch rubber wheels, Bluetooth and LED lights. Amazon lists a 75kg maximum rider weight, so check that against your child's weight before buying.
On safety, the listing states UL2272 certification for the board and a UL2271-certified battery. It doesn't mention an Australian SAA approval, which HOVEROO's CHIC-D02 in our catalogue does list — worth asking the seller if that matters to you.
Two honest caveats. This black version has 4.2 stars, but from only 15 reviews, and when we checked on Amazon only 2 were left in stock, so both the rating and the availability are thin. Top speed, range and ride time aren't stated on the listing, so we've left them blank rather than guess. The same board is listed separately in blue with 4.8 stars from 16 reviews.
✓Pros
- UL2272-certified, with a UL2271-certified battery
- Dual 250W motors on 6.5-inch rubber wheels
- Bluetooth and LED lights built in
- At $269.00, cheaper than the HOVEROO CHIC-D02 and the pink Razor Hovertrax Prizma
✕Cons
- Only 15 reviews — the 4.2-star rating is a small sample
- Limited stock: only 2 left on Amazon when we checked
- Amazon's listing mentions UL2272 only — no Australian SAA approval is listed
- 75kg maximum rider weight rules out heavier teens and adults
- Top speed, range and ride time aren't stated on the listing
What reviewers say
15 reviews average 4.2 stars on amazon.com.au — a small sample, and lower than the blue version of the same board (4.8 stars from 16 reviews).
